Description of Business

Krantz Recovered Woods is a specialty lumber products manufacturer and retailer of virgin growth wood. The wood is sourced from old dismantled buildings or underwater “sinker” logs recovered from lakes and rivers. Wood is mostly Cypress and Longleaf Heart Pine. Family owned and operated business established in 1998.  Recently supplied our Sinker Cypress and Reclaimed Longleaf Pine for the TX Governor’s mansion restoration and the Botanical Research Institute of Texas

Heavy focus on salvage and reclaimation of virgin growth wood that would either be sent the the landfill or forever forgotten at the bottom of lakes and rivers.
