April 2009: Earth Day & Meeting at Sustainable Waves

On Saturday, April the 18th, we celebrated Earth Day at Republic Square in downtown Austin.

Then on April the 28th, we held a jammin’ monthly meeting at Sustainable Waves, a company that specializes in sustainable energy solutions for the entertainment industry.   We combined their Solar Tuesday meeting with the TGN monthly mixer.  Our guest speaker, Luke Metzger of Environment Texas, spoke on the subject of “Solar Legislation and Opportunity in the Texas Business Community”.
