April 2010: An Earth Day Marathon

April, 2010 Events:

The Texas Green Network is not hosting events ourselves this month but instead have decided to participate in and support a variety of April/Earth Day events.  Please check out our top picks:

The Renewable Stampede is brought to you by the same folks that do the Renewable Roundup in Fredericksburg.  The Stampede is April 17th-18th in Salado, TX, about an hour north of Austin.  TGN will be here.

The Austin Earth Day Festival for 2010 will be Wednesday, April 21st, 4pm-8pm, at the Triangle (4600 Guadalupe).  Austin Green Art and the Triangle Farmers Market present this family-friendly Earth Day Expo.  TGN will be here too.

Green Networking with the Texas Green Network at the Green Living Expo
The Texas Green Network, the first green chamber-of-commerce in Texas, has joined with the Green Living Expo to provide you with green business networking opportunities as part of your participation this year.
Join us on Friday, April 23rd for “Teams of 6” green networking, a popular function at Texas Green Network events, and get a chance to explore first-hand what our organization is all about.
The experience of going to a networking event with 50 business cards and no results is a common one.  Instead, we set you up in interesting activities with a team of 6 people, where you really do make 5 new business contacts.
Sign up for our Green Business Networking Activity at BOOTH # 643 by 5:00pm on Friday, April 23rd.  Networking activities will begin at 5:30pm at tables near the concession area. You can rsvp to reserve a seat at rsvp<at>texasgreennetwork.org.
