Seed Coalition:

 

 

 

 

SEED Coalition works for clean air and clean energy, advocating for energy efficiency and solar, wind and geothermal energy. We’re working to improve building codes and get municipal utilities and co-ops to strengthen clean energy programs. SEED Coalition actively opposes dirty and dangerous coal plants and nuclear reactors, and is leading legal opposition to four nuclear reactors proposed in Texas. Membership is free and volunteers are welcome.

Sierra Club:

To explore, enjoy and protect the wild places of the earth; To practice and promote the responsible use of the earth’s ecosystems and resources; To educate and enlist humanity to protect and restore the quality of the natural and human environment; and to use all lawful means to carry out these objectives.

Design~Build~Live exists to share, practice, promote and nurture natural building and sustainable living. DBL was created by and for those who desire to live full, joyful lives that support the human spirit and honor the Earth and all her beings. We seek to design and build our homes, buildings, landscapes and entire lives thoughtfully, respectfully and beautifully. Among our offerings are monthly presentations, classes, hands-on workshops, and special educational events.
