Free Single Use Carryout Bag Training in Austin

FREE CARRYOUT BAG TRAINING SESSION

The City of Austin will host a free training class for businesses to discuss the Single-Use Carryout Bag Ordinance.  The training will provide an overview of the ordinance, discuss facts and rumors about enforcement and implementation, as well as offer time for question and answer.

Bag distributors and sales representatives will be available.  Complimentary refreshments will be provided.

Who Businesses   that issue carryout bags to their customers(Restaurants,   grocery stores, convenience stores, etc.)

Where City Hall,   301 W. 2nd St., Council Chambers
Time(s) Session   1:  9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.Register for   Session 1 here.

Session   2:  1:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Both sessions will cover the same   material

Cost FREE.   Registration is required. Limited to 150 attendees per session.
Parking FREE   at City Hall parking garage. Enter from Lavaca Street.Please   bring your parking pass in for validation.
