Texas Green Network is Growing, Seeks New Board Members

The Texas Green Network is the first sustainable business chamber-of-commerce in Texas.  Our mission is to accelerate the adoption of sustainable practices in the Texas business community and to develop and grow the green business sector.

We do this by creating a dynamic platform for networking and collaboration.

Since our formation at the start of 2008, we have had a great run but we need your help to take it to the next level.  We are growing into a state-wide organization with tangible reach in promoting the green business movement.

We need a few bright and energetic leaders to complete formation of our new Board of Directors.  We are seeking a diverse board and are interested in a variety of skill sets.

Here are a few of the things we are hoping to find:
• Leaders who are passionate about the environment and want to put some of their time into that passion
• People with a strong interest in their contacts in the local environmental and/or business community who seek to cultivate and expand those positive community relationships
• Have a creative approach and are interested in building new ideas on the ones that are already working.
• Good organizers who see beyond their own efforts and can engage multiple volunteers to help the network grow.
• Individuals whose core business would be complemented by their participation and leadership in the Texas Green Network but who understand the need for balance to be successful in their roles.

If interested, please contact Reed Sternberg.
