August 2011: Austin — Texas Green Network 50th Event Celebration

In August, 2011, The Texas Green Network celebrated our 50th Event with a special evening at the Barr Mansion.

Kathie Tovo, Austin City Council Member, and Tom “Smitty” Smith, Texas Director of Public Citizen joined us as guest speakers.  Kathie gave and informative city update and Smitty gave an inspring speech, rallying around the efforts of TGN.

We enjoyed pizza from a variety of local sponsors.  Our sponsor roster included: Live Oak BrewerySESA Teas, Maine Root Sodas, Nurturess, Delish Cupcakes, Great Harvest,  Promise Pizza, Brick Oven, Conan’s Pizza, House Pizzeria and Barr Mansion

We had record attendance and an upbeat atmosphere as so many of our good friends toasted this TGN milestone.
