April 2011: San Antonio at Holiday Inn with Larry Zinn

Our April, 2011 San Antonio networking event was Hosted & Sponsored by: Holiday Inn San Antonio International Airport.
Larry Zinn, chairman of Mayor Castro’s Green Jobs Leadership Council, gave attendees an update on Mission Verde. Mission Verde is San Antonio’s plan to build a 21st Century economy around green technologies and initiatives that improve energy efficiency, utilize renewable materials, improve air and water quality and advance sustainability. The Green Jobs Leadership Council is a task force dedicated to creating a green economy for San Antonio.

Mr. Zinn was the winner of the 2010 San Antonio Business Journal’s Green Pioneer Award for his work on Mission Verde, the Green Jobs Leadership Council and other sustainability projects in San Antonio. He serves as a Board Member of the Balcones Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council and as an Advisory Board Member to the San Antonio Clean Technology Forum and to Global Urban Development.
