Committees
Your Participation is Welcome!
The Texas Green Network has organized into a group of committees for a couple of purposes:
1. To provide connecting points for members with similar interests
2. To organize our volunteer efforts and provide a fun and well-organized way to participate
Please let us know if you are interested in participating in one of our committees. We are also interested in your ideas for another committee you would like to start within TGN.
Events Committee –Our events committee is focused on finding interesting and relevant event locations, recruiting speakers, planning themes and activities and securing food and beverage sponsors.
Membership Committee –The Membership Committee reaches out to potential Texas Green Network members and assists in the process of joining and getting plugged in.
Operations Committee — A catch all for many TGN internal functions that currently includes alot of web, video and social media involvement.
Committees will also serve as connecting points for Texas Green Network members with similar interests, as the network expands. Some committees that have already been talked about are:
